Makyo spins almost every weekend somewhere in Tokyo or other parts of Japan
-- he has a particularly strong following amongst Tokyo's booming bellydance
scene for his dancefloor mixes of tribal dub and eastern grooves.
Residencies include Dakini Nights (ambient), Orient Express (ethno), and
Tribal Fusion Night (tribal!) As a dj, Makyo has spun alongside, Steve
Hillage/Mirror System, Mixmaster Morris, Karsh Kale, Alex Patterson (The

Ahimsa started out as a goa trance DJ over six years ago, but has been focussing for the past few years on chillout electronica. He has strong connections with his Indian heritage and mixes beautiful Indian and Middle Eastern inspired electronica, wafty grooves and melodic glitchy electronica to create a chillout set that draws you into his peaceful Indian ahimsa flow. On the dancefloor he plays tribal progressive and dirty electro, still infused with the spirit of India.
He believes that music is thegreatest tool for healing your soul and spreading love throughout his life and others around him. Although originally from Australia,
he now plays regularly in Tokyo, Japan.

David has been spinning in Tokyo chill-rooms since 1993, when he started at
Maniac Love with Makyo. He currently is based in Bali, where he runs the
Hikari clothing label with his partner, Chiemi. As a musician, David is part
of the Padmasana project with Makyo and S. Widi. Most summers, you can hear
David spinning at outdoor festivals like Solstice, Mother, or Labyrinth.

Min began dj'ing ambient music in 1992, at student house parties and club
chill-out rooms. As a lover of Indian classical music also, his
Asian-ambience style came about after picking up a copy of Makyo's Rasa
Bhava in 1996, and hooking up with Gio a couple of years later.
He has played at clubs all around the Midlands and London, with residencies
at Nishaan, Shaanti and Bombay Chill, and along side Pathaan, State Of
Bengal, Earthtribe and Badmarsh.
Min's partner Nona also contributes vocals to several Makyo tracks.
